Working with Lifecycles

A lifecycle defines the various states in an asset. All lifecycles are stored in the <ES_HOME>/repository/deployment/server/jaggeryapps/publisher/config/lifecycles directory. Users can use the lifecycles that are shipped with WSO2 ES. However, if needed users can define and load a custom lifecycle to ES. If a custom lifecycle is used, the user will have to attach the lifecycle to the corresponding asset type after carrying out several configuration changes. The following sub-sections contain in-depth information on working with a lifecycle.
