Anonymous View in Tenant Stores
WSO2 Enterprise Store (ES) is a generic store that allows developers to deploy their asset types and build a custom store on top of it. Similar to all the other WSO2 products, ES also supports Multi-tenancy, so that users can maintain separate assets in separate Stores. Therefore, in ES, each individual Tenant Stores, similar to the Super Tenant Store, has a anonymous view (public view), which is publicly accessible. Thereby, you can either sign in or anonymously (without logging in) access a specific Tenant Store or Super Tenant Store. When accessing a respective Tenant Store, you will only see a set of isolated assets, which have been published, by that specific tenant.Â
The following are some pointers that need to be kept in mind by asset publishers and asset viewer:
Any asset that you make available for the
external.everyone
role from the tenant store’s back-office (Publisher) will appear in this anonymous view.If you wish to add or publish an asset into a specific tenant store, you need to be registered with the
internal/publisher
role permission in that specific store. If you are a user who has signed into ES, you also may view the assets of other tenant stores, which have been published to be available for the
anonymous
user role. However, you will not be able to perform any write operations (e.g., rate or comment on assets) on such assets, which are in the store anonymous view.
