Managing Dependencies and Associations

WSO2 Governance Registry allows to add dependencies and associations to a resource/collection.

Dependencies

The "Dependencies" panel shows the existing dependencies, allows to add new ones, view the dependency tree and delete dependencies.

Adding a New Dependency

1. Click on the "Add Dependency" link to add a new dependency to the resource.

2. In the "Add Dependency" pane, fill in "Path."

3. Click on the "Add" button to add a dependency to the list.

Viewing the Dependency Tree

1. Click on the "Dependency Tree" link to view the "Dependency" tree.

2. The "Dependency Tree" page appears. Here you can see the required information.

Tip

Click on the dependency to browse its details in the "Browse" resource window.

Deleting Dependencies

1. Click on the "Delete" link associated with a certain dependency in the "Actions" column.

2. Confirm your request in the "WSO2 Carbon" window. Click "Yes."

Associations

The "Associations" panel shows the existing associations, allows to add new ones, view the association tree and delete associations.

Adding a New Association

1. Click on the "Add Association" link to add a new association to the resource.

2. In the "Add Association" pane specify "Type" and "Path" of association. Two predefined Types (usedBy and ownedBy) are given in a drop down for theĀ convenienceĀ of the user. But users are also capable of defining their own Type as well.

SLF is a random association type.

3. Click on the "Add" button to add an association to the list.

Viewing the Association Tree

1. Click on the "Association Tree" link to view the "Association" tree.

2. The "Association Tree" page appears. Here you can see the required information.

Tip

Click on some association to browse its details in the "Browse" resource window.

Deleting Associations

1. Click on the "Delete" link associated with a certain association in the "Actions" column.

2. Confirm your request in the "WSO2 Carbon" window. Click "Yes."
