Repository Management

The "Repository Management" tab allows you to view or modify feature management settings.

From here you can add, modify, delete, enable/disable a repository.

Adding a Repository

1. Click on the "Add Repository" link in the "Manage Repositories" pane.

2. Provide a convenient name and a URL of the repository. If you have a downloaded repository on your computer, add the file path of directory.

Tip

The official WSO2 Carbon features are available in Equinox P2 repository at: http://dist.wso2.org/p2/carbon/releases. WSO2 Governance Registry 5.2.0 is based on WSO2 Carbon 4.4.5. Therefore the P2 feature repository 4.4.5 is the earliest, compatible version.

Add, for example, the repository version 3.2.0:

3. Click on the "Add" button.

Deleting a Repository

1. Select a repository to delete and click on the "Remove" link associated with it.

2. Confirm your request in the "WSO2 Carbon" window. Click "Yes."

Editing a Repository

1. Select a repository to modify and click on the "Edit" link associated with it.

2. This page allows you to change the repository name. But if you want to change the repository URL, you need to remove the old repository and add the new one. Specify a new name of a repository.

3. Click on the "Save" button.

Enabling/Disabling a Repository

By default all the repositories are enabled. When you perform a provisioning operation, metadata and artifacts are searched from all the enabled repositories. Once you disable a repository, Equinox P2 does not search for metadata and artifacts from it.
