What's new in this release

WSO2 IS version 4.6.0 is the successor of version 4.5.0. It contains the following new features and enhancements:

You can now enable support for IdP-initiated SAML web SSO profiles. You can enable this while adding a service provider.

Improvements to the base framework

New distributed caching implementation based on Hazelcast.
New clustering implementation based on Hazelcast. For more information, see Clustered Deployment.
Improved patches and service packs installation model. For more information, see WSO2 Patch Application Process.
Logically related features have been categorized in the feature repository for ease of use. For more information see, Feature Categorization.
