Repository Management
The "Repository Management" tab allows you to view or modify feature management settings.
From here you can add, modify, delete, or enable/disable a repository.
Adding a Repository
- Login to the management console and click Features under the Configure menu.
- Click on the Add Repository link in the Repository Management pane.
Provide a name and a URL for the repository. If you have already downloaded a repository to your computer, enter the file path for the directory.
The official WSO2 P2 repository is available here:Â
http://dist.wso2.org/p2/carbon/releases/
For example, to add version 4.2.0 of the WSO2 P2 repository:
Â- Click on the Add button.
Deleting a Repository
- Select a repository to delete and click on the "Remove" link associated with it.
- Confirm your request in the "WSO2 Carbon" window. Click "Yes."
Editing a Repository
- Select a repository to modify and click on the "Edit" link associated with it.
- This page allows you to change the repository name. If you want to change the repository URL, however, you need to remove the old repository and add a new one. Specify a new name for this repository.
- Click on the "Save" button.
Enabling/Disabling a Repository
By default, all repositories are enabled. When you perform a provisioning operation, the system searches all enabled repositories for metadata and artifacts. Once you disable a repository, Equinox P2 does not search its metadata and artifacts.
- To enable/disable a repository, click on the "Enable" or "Disable" link associated with the repository. For example:
- Confirm your request in the "WSO2 Carbon" window. Click "Yes."
