Integrating with Open Banking Implementation Entity

The Open Banking Implementation Entity (OBIE) provides specifications and legislation to enable secure mediation flow of banking data to an open banking gateway. As a result, Third-Party Provider (TPP) onboarding ensures the trust and governance of third-party providers. The process includes a Primary Technical Contact (PTC) submitting a Software Statement Assertion (SSA) to an Account Servicing Payment Service Provider (ASPSP) for a Third Party Provider (TPP) in order to receive client credentials on behalf of Payment Service Users (PSUs). Use of SSA in TPP Onboarding is implemented according to OBIE.

This can be done in two methods that are discussed in detail in the following sections. You can configure using one of the following:

  1. Manual Client Registration
  2. Dynamic Client Registration
    1. Dynamic Client Registration v1.0.0
    2. Dynamic Client Registration v3.2

The software_environment metadata value in SSA defines the type of service provider that gets registered in the WSO2 Open Banking Key Manager. The value of software_environment can be sandbox or production
