About This Release

The WSO2 SP version 4.0.0 is a new product focusing on solving streaming processing and complex event processing use cases.
Like its predecessors such as WSO2 Data Analytics Server and WSO2 Complex Event Processor, WSO2 SP is also released under Apache Software License Version 2.0, one of the most business-friendly licenses available today.

• Uses the powerful state of the art Siddhi Streaming SQL language to express processing logic.

High Availability and Scalability

• Supports up to 100,000 events per second with just two nodes, providing high availability deployment with zero data loss and zero downtime.

• For even higher event rates, WSO2 SP supports fully scalable deployment with Kafka allowing processing to be done just once without the risk of losing data when failures occur. 

• Single Siddhi Stream SQL Script can be deployed in a single node, HA or full scaled distributed deployment mode.

• Supports reliable and highly available stream processing across multiple data centers.

• Processes event at the edge by embedding lightweight Steaming Siddhi Engine (< 2MB) in devices and edge nodes with out-of-the-box connectors to Android, and with nodes having Java or Python such as Raspberry Pi
