Importing an XACML Policy

If you have a policy in your storage, you can easily upload it to the Identity Server. Follow the instructions below to import an existing XACML policy, either from your local filesystem or from the Registry.

1. Sign in. Enter your user name and password to log on to the Management Console as described here for Windows users and here for Linux users.

2. Click the "Main" button to access the "Entitlement" menu.

3. From the "Main" menu, select "Administration" under "Entitlement."

4. Click on the "Import New Entitlement Policy" link to access the "Import New Entitlement Policy" page.

5. Select the storage location to import the Entitlement Policy from.

  • FileSystem - Allows you to upload a policy from your local filesystem.
  • Registry - Allows you to upload a policy from the Configuration Registry or Governance Registry.

5.1. If the "FileSystem" option was selected, click on the "Upload" button and locate the policy in your filesystem.

5.2. If the "Registry" option was selected, click on the "Config Registry" or "Governance Registry" link and locate the policy in the WSO2 storage.

6. Once you have selected the policy you want to import, click on the "Upload" button.
