Log and Forward Proxy Template
The "Log and Forward Proxy" template creates a Proxy Service, which logs all the incoming requests and forwards them to a given endpoint. If necessary, responses coming back from the backend service can be logged before routing them to the client.
The Proxy Service settings:
- Proxy Service Name - Allows do define the unique name of the Proxy Service.
- Target Endpoint - Allows to be selected as:
- Enter URL
- Target URL - Allows to enter a Target URL into the field.
- Target URL - Allows to enter a Target URL into the field.
- Predefined EndpointÂ
- Predefined Endpoint - Allows to select a certain Endpoint from the drop-down menu.
- Predefined Endpoint - Allows to select a certain Endpoint from the drop-down menu.
- Pick from registry
- Endpoint Key - Allows to pick the source from the Configuration Registry or Governance Registry. For more information about the Registry Browser see Registry Browser and Namespace.

- Enter URL
- Log Level - Can be selected from the drop-down menu as "Full" or "Simple."
- Log Responses - If the "Log Responses" checkbox set as true, it is possible to choose "Response Log Level."
- Responce Log Level - Can be selected from the drop-down menu as "Full" or "Simple."
