Deleting an asset via Publisher is based on the respective user's user permissions and the defined lifecycle states. When there's no lifecycle attached for an asset, then the authorized users are allowed to delete the asset.
Follow the instructions below to delete an asset:
- Sign into the Publisher.
- Click on the asset that you wish to delete. When you are not allowed to delete an asset (e.g., due to the asset not being in a deletable state etc.), the Delete button will appear disabled.
- Click Delete. A delete confirmation message appears.
- Click Delete to delete the asset.
If you wish to delete an asset that is not in a deletable state, demote the asset to a deletable state, to enable asset deletion.
