Excerpt
  1. Tap Start Workplace, when the workplace native application opens on your mobile device.
  2. Tap add account to start the registration process.
  3. Provide your corporate email address, and tap sign in.

    Note

Make sure to provide an email address that belongs to the domain you purchased or to a DNS entry you created.

    Info

The auto discovery will fail if the proxy configurations has not taken place correctly. In such a situation, the device client is unable to contact the server, and the user has to manually enter the discovery server address when registering a Windows device with WSO2 EMM.

    Note

When specifying the server address, if port offset has been used in EMM, the server address should reflect the port offset. For example, if the port offset is 1 and you are using the 9443 port, the port will change to 9444. Therefore, in such a scenario an example server IP is as follows: 110.100.7.123:9444

  4. Enter your details, and tap Login
    • Username - Enter username provided in the email.
    • Password - Enter password provided in the email.
    Info

By default Windows 8.1 only supports the BYOD registration process.

  5. Read the policy agreement, and tap  I Accept  to accept the agreement.

  6. The application starts searching for the required certificate policy.

Once the application successfully finds and completes the certificate sharing process it indicates that the email address is saved.

  7. Tap on WSO2 enrolled once the device enrollment process is complete.

If the application successfully connects to the EMM server it will indicate the last successful attempt.

Info

Windows devices support local polling. Therefore if a device does not initiate the wakeup call, you can enable automatic syncing by tapping on the button.
