Managing Subscriptions Among Multiple Tenants

This section explains how the app creator can control who can subscribe to a Web app. Subscription is controlled by selecting the correct subscription option when creating the Web app.

Three subscription categories are defined under Policies > Global Policies.

  1. Allow All Tenants - This option allows subscription to users in all tenants in the deployment.
  2. Current Tenant Only - This option allows subscription to users in the tenant where the app is created (tenant domain of app creator).
  3. Specific Tenants - This option allows subscription to users in specific tenants and the users in the current tenant (tenant of the app provider).
     
If the Skip the Gateway option is selected for the app, app subscription is not checked when invoking since it does not go through the Gateway. However, the subscription option is available in the store and can be useful when collecting statistics of subscription users.
