Resetting a User's Password

Data Services Server Administrator has the ability to reset a user's password.

Note

You cannot change the user name of an existing user.

Follow the instructions below to reset a user's password.

1. Log on to the Data Services Server Management Console.

2. Select the "Configure" menu and click on "Users and Roles" to access "System User Store."

3. Click on "Users" to access the menu.

4. In the "Users" list that opens, locate the required user and click the "Change Password" link of the necessary user.

5. The "Change Password" window opens. Fill in the "New Password" and the "New Password Repeat" fields. Click on the "Change" button.

6. Click "OK."
