WSO2 EI 6.6.0 introduces log4j2. You can edit the log4j2.properties file in the /conf directory (of the ESB profile, Message Broker profile, and the Business Process profile) to update the log4j2 configurations for the respective profile. As soon as you edit the file, changes will get applied on the running server. You do not need to restart the server to apply logging related changes.
In addition to log4j2 logs, you can enable HTTP access logs to monitor information such as the persons who access the EI profile, how many hits are received, what the errors are, etc. This information is useful for troubleshooting errors.
