Application Management

The statistics that are available in MAM app management are automatically derived through the compliance monitoring process in EMM. Administrators will be able to search for app statistics based on the roles and users, and also based on whether the apps have been installed or not installed.

Viewing app statistics

Follow the instructions below to view app statistics:

1. Click on the Management tab in the MAM Console.
2. Search for an app and click on the app.
   Select either the type of app or enter the app name and click Search.
3. Filter the statistics by clicking on either Users or Roles tabs.
4. Further filter the statistics by clicking on either the Installed or Not-installed tabs. 

Installing an app on devices

Follow the instructions below to install apps on devices:

1. Click on the Management tab in the MAM Console.
2. Search for an app and click on the app.
   Select either the type of app or enter the app name and click Search.
3. Filter the statistics by clicking on either the Users and Roles tabs.
4. Further filter the statistics by clicking Not-installed.
5. Select the user(s) or role(s) that corresponds to the devices on which you wish to install the app.
6. Click Install. The app will be installed on the selected devices, after being approved by the user.

Uninstalling an app from devices

Follow the instructions below to uninstall apps from devices:

1. Click on the Management tab in the MAM Console.
2. Search for an app and click on the app.
   Select either the type of app or enter the app name and click Search.
3. Filter the statistics by clicking on either the Users and Roles tabs.
    
4. Further filter the statistics by clicking Installed.
5. Select the user(s) or role(s) that corresponds to the devices on which you wish to uninstall the app.
6. Click Uninstall. The apps will be automatically uninstalled on the selected Android devices, but will only be uninstalled on iOS devices after the uninstallation process has been approved by the receptive user.
