Applying Operations on Your Device

Follow the instructions below to apply operations on your device via the EMM Console:

  1. Log into the EMM Console. The My Devices page appears with the following device information. The details of each registered devices will be shown on separate pages within the My Devices page.

     Description
    Device information

    The following device information will be retrieved automatically when you register with MDM.

    ProductThe product naming convention used by the device (e.g., iPhone 5,1, iPad2).
    SerialThe serial number of the device.
    IMEIThe International Mobile Station Equipment Identity (IMEI) number of all GSM devices. This is not applicable to devices such as iPads which work without a SIM.
    DeviceThis shows the name the user has given his/her device (e.g., Kim's iPhone)
    VersionThe version of the device registered (e.g., 11B511)
    ModelThe type of device will be stated (e.g., iPhone, iPad)
    PolicyIf your device does not comply to certain criteria in the enforced policy, the aspects in which your device is none compliant will be highlighted under this section.
    Application listA list of all the applications that have been installed on your device will be listed under this section.
    NotificationThe date and time of all communication records, between the MDM server and your device will be logged under this section.
    OperationsBased on your permissions all the operations that you can carryout on your device will be shown under this section.
  2. Click on the respective operation link and provide the required details (if requested) to apply the selected operation on your device. For more details see, Device Operations.
