Adding a Newer Version of an Asset

Enterprise Store allows admin users to offer their customers upgraded assets as and when newer versions are released. For this purpose, the Enterprise Store (ES) offers the users the artifact versioning feature, where they can add newer versions of the assets that are already available via the ES Back-office.

Follow the instructions below add a newer version of an asset:

1. Log into the ES Back-office using one of the following URLs:
   http://localhost:9763/publisher/
   https://localhost:9443/publisher/ 
2. Select the asset type from the Type drop-down list. For example, if you wish to add a newer version of a gadget, select "Gadget".

3. Click on the asset. 

4. Click on the version drop-down list.
5. Enter the new version.
6. Click Create. The overview of the newly created version of the asset appears.
7. Click Edit and edit the asset as required. For more information, see steps 6 & 7 in Editing an Asset.
