Enabling or Disabling the Search History
When the search history is enabled in WSO2 Enterprise Store (ES), the users search history is listed down automatically when a user types matching words in the Publisher or Store search box. A user can traverse through the suggested search history and pick a suggested search query, and thereby reuse their search queries.
The search history feature can be enabled or disabled at anytime in the Store by following the instructions below:
The search history can not be disabled in the Publisher.
- Sign into the WSO2 ES Management Console.
- Navigate to the Main menu and click Browse, which is listed under the Resource menu.
- Navigate to the
/_system/config/store/configs/store.json
registry resource file by clicking the following.
_system > config > store >configs > store.json - Click Edit as text.
- Enable or disable this feature.
- Set the enabled flag to false to disable this feature when it is enabled.
- Set the enabled flag to true to enable this feature when it is disabled.
- Click Save Content.
- Gracefully restart the WSO2 ES server.
For more information on gracefully restarting the server, see Shutting Down and Restarting the Server.
