Managing Endpoints
An endpoint defines an external destination for a message. Endpoints can be defined in Governance Registry. Endpoints can be defined in Governance Registry. G-Reg endpoint type is used to create associations with SOAP services when WSDL types are imported. These endpoints are extracted from the WSDL itself. Apart from that you can use the Endpoint type as an independent RXT to govern different endpoints (URLs).
Adding an endpoint
Follow the instructions below to add an endpoint.
- Log on to the Management Console.
- Click Main > Metadata > Add > Endpoint.
Enter the name, version and address of the endpoint.
Field Description Name The name of the endpoint. Version The version of the endpoint (e.g., 1.0.0) Address The address of the endpoint.
Listing endpoints
To list all the endpoints.
- Click Main > Metadata > List > Endpoints.
- It is possible to view the endpoints by filtering them as required.
When filtering the data using more than one value in the search field, use comma separated values with quotation marks to distinguish the values. E.g., if there are two entries with the words Connector and Resource, the search string would be: "Connector", "Resource".
