Managing User Profiles

You can manage a user's profile from the Identity Server Management Console.

Follow the instructions below to manage a user's profile data.

  1. Sign in. Enter your username and password to log on to the Management Console.
  2. Click Configure to access the Configure menu.
  3. In the Configure menu of Management Console, click Users and Roles to access the User Management page.
  4. Click on the Users link to access the Users list.
  5. Locate the required user and click on the associated User Profile link.
  6. Click on the profile name in the User Profiles list.
  7. Populate the following fields with the user's personal information:

    • First Name - The user's first name
    • Last Name - The user's last name
    • Organization - The organization the user works for
    • Address - The user's local address
    • Country - The name of the country the user lives/works in
    • Email - The user's email address
    • Telephone - The user's phone number
    • Mobile - The user's mobile number
    • IM - The user's personal email address
    • URL - The user's site address
    • Role - The user's role.


  8. Click on the Update button.
  9. Click OK in the WSO2 Carbon confirmation window.

Tip

You can delete a profile by clicking on the Delete link.

Tip

Users can also access their profiles from the My Identity menu. Click on the My Profiles link under My Identity in the Main menu, and you can see the User Profiles list described above.
