Changing a User's Current Password

If you need to change a user's password, you can do so easily in the Identity Server Management Console.

Follow the instructions below to change the password of a currently logged-in user.

  1. Sign in. Enter your username and password to log on to the Management Console.
  2. Click the Configure button to access the Configure menu.
     
  3. In the Configure menu of the Management Console, click on Users and Roles to access the User Management page.
  4. Then click on the Users link.
  5. Click on the Change Password link.
  6. The Change Password screen appears. Populate the required fields and click Change.

    Note

    If you have forgotten your current password, please contact your administrator, who can reset it without the current password.

  7. A notification informs you that the current user's password has been changed. Click OK.
