Configuring Alerts

Follow the steps below to configure alerts for WSO2 Identity Server.

Prerequisites

In order to receive alerts, you need to enable Analytics for IS. For entailed instructions, see Prerequisites to Publish Statistics.

 

  1. Access the WSO2 IS Analytics Management Console using the https://<IS_ANALYTICS_HOST>:<IS_ANALYTICS_PORT>/carbon/ URL, and then log in with your credentials.
  2. In the Main menu, click Template Manager to open the Template Manager page. 
  3. Under Domains, click ISAnalytics. This opens Deployed Scenarios page.
     
  4. Click Edit for the alert you want to configure a new alert, click Create New Scenario. This opens the Edit Scenario page. 

    In the Scenario Type field, select the alert type you want to configure.

    Enter a name and a description for the alert.

  5. Configure the required parameters based on the alert type you selected. Click on the relevant tab below to view descriptions for alert-specific parameters.

  6. Click Add Scenario  to save the configuration.

Other Actions

  • If you want to edit an existing alert configuration, click Edit for the required alert.
  • If you want to delete an existing alert configuration, click Delete for the required alert.
