Creating New Dashboards

To create a new dashboard, follow the procedure below:
- Start and access the WSO2 SP Dashboard Portal. For more information, see Visualizing Data.
- Click Create Dashboard to open the Create a Dashboard page.
In the Create a Dashboard page, enter information as follows:
Parameter Description Example Name of your Dashboard Enter a unique name for your dashboard. Sales Statistics URL Enter a URL for the dashboard. sales-statsDescription Enter a description about the dashboard. Monthly Sales Statistics
- Click Add to save the dashboard. A basic dashboard is created and you are redirected to the following page.
You can see a list of widgets available with the Portal in the left panel. You can drag and drop a desired widget in to the dashboard container. Also, you can click the Delete icon on the widget container to remove a widget that is already added to the dashboard. After adding the desired widgets, click the SAVE PAGE button.
Widgets that you see in the left panel are a set of sample widgets that are shipped with the portal. You can generate or manually create your own widgets and get them listed here. For more information, see Generating Widgets and Creating Custom Widgets.
You can click the Back button in the top left corner and go to the Dashboard Listing page and see the dashboard you just created listed there.
