Deprecating and Retiring Web Apps

Publishers can only manage their own mobile applications (apps). Thereby, only administrators or publishers can deprecate publish apps, and thereafter retire the deprecated apps.

Deprecating a Web app

The App Publisher can not republish deprecated mobile apps to the App Store. However, the App Store will support the app until it is retired.

Follow the instructions below to deprecate a Web app.

  1. Log into the App Publisher. 
  2. Search for your Web app.
  3. Click Deprecate in the Action column. The Web app will get removed from the App Store to avoid new users form installing the application. 

Retiring a Web app

App Manager will not support Web apps that were retired.

Follow the instructions below to retire a Web app.

  1. Log into the App Publisher. 
  2. Search for your Web app.
  3. Click on Retire in the Action column.Â
