Viewing Cache Hits Statistics
You can view statistics on the cache hits/misses of Web apps based on a selected time period through the admin dashboard of WSO2 App Manager by integrating it with WSO2 Business Activity Monitor (BAM). Administrators can monitor the performance of the system by viewing these cache hits/misses statistics. If the cache hits count is higher than than misses count, the performance of the system is high as most requests were sent through the cache memory without a database query. Follow the steps below to view cache hits/misses statistics of Web apps.
- Change the value of the
<CacheStatsEnabled>
property totrue
, within the<APIUsageTracking>
element in the<AppM_HOME>/repository/conf/app-manager.xml
file. - Log in to the admin dashboard of WSO2 App Manager using admin/admin credentials and the following URL: https://<AppM_HOST>:<AppM_PORT>/admin-dashboard
- Click Cache Hits/Miss in the left menu.
Select the time period of which you want to view statistics based on the current date, hour, week, moth or any time period as shown below.
Now, you view the cache hits statistics of Web apps based on the selected time period and the data type as described below.
Viewing stacked stats
Click the Stacked button to view cache hits/misses statistics of stacked data as shown below.
Viewing stream stats
Click the Stream button to view cache hits/misses statistics of streamed data as shown below.
