Deprecating and Retiring Mobile Apps
Publishers can only manage their own mobile applications (apps). Thereby, only administrators or publishers can deprecate publish apps, and thereafter retire the deprecated apps.
Deprecating a mobile app
The Publisher can not republish deprecated mobile apps to the Store. However, the Store will support the app until it is retired.
Follow the instruction below to deprecate a mobile app:
- Log into the Publisher.Â
- Search for your mobile app.
- Click on Deprecate in the Action column. The mobile app will get removed from the Store to avoid new users form installing the application.Â
Retiring a mobile app
EMM will not support mobile apps that have been retired.
Follow the instruction below to retire a mobile app:
- Log into the Publisher.Â
- Search for your mobile app.
- Click on Retire in the Action column.Â
