Editing a User Role

You can define new roles for a user using the Gadget Server Management Console.

Follow the instructions below to change the user role.

1. Log on to the Gadget Server Management Console.

2. Click the "Configure" menu and select "Users and Roles."

3. Then click on the "Users" link. This link is visible only to users with "Admin" permissions.

4. In the "Users" list find the user whose role you want to change and click the "Roles" link associated with it.

5. The "Roles List of User" window opens. It contains the information about the roles assigned to that user.

6. Select the role you want to assign in the check boxes and click "Update."

7. The user role is changed. The program goes back to the user menu.
