Spotify Connector

The Spotify connector allows you to access the Spotify API through the WSO2 ESB. Spotify  is a commercial music streaming service that provides digital rights management-restricted content from record labels including Sony, EMI, Warner Music Group, and Universal. Music can be browsed or searched by artist, album, genre, playlist, or record label.

Note

This API is not available in Sri Lanka. To access this API we need to create an account through VPN. By the registration, We can get unique Client ID and Client Secret to use in the authorization flows.

This API is utilizing the Oauth2 as the authentication mechanism.

Getting Started

To get started, go to Configuring Spotify Operations to get to know the operations. Once you have completed your configurations, you can perform various operations with the connector.

For general information on using connectors and their operations in your ESB configurations, see Using a Connector. To download the connector, go to https://store.wso2.com/store/assets/esbconnector/spotify, and click Download Connector. Then you can add and enable the connector in your ESB instance.
