ISO8583 Connector and Inbound Endpoint

ISO8583 is an international messaging standard for financial transaction card originated messages, and is commonly used in transactions between devices such as point-of-sale(POS) terminals and automated teller machines(ATMs).

The ISO8583 connector allows you to send ISO8583 standard messages through WSO2 ESB, whereas the ISO8583 inbound endpoint acts as a message consumer that consumes ISO8583 standard messages, converts the messages to XML format, and then injects messages to a sequence in WSO2 ESB.

Getting started

To get started with the connector, go to Configuring ISO8583 Connector Operation. Once you configure the connector, you can work with ISO8583 standard messages via the ESB.

To get started with the inbound endpoint, go to Configuring ISO8583 Inbound Operation. Once you configure the ISO8583 inbound endpoint, you can consume ISO8583 messages using the inbound endpoint.
