Interacting with Assets

The actions that can be carried out on an asset will vary based on the asset type selected. The following are the actions that can be carried out on the default assets that have been shipped with ES.

Searching for an asset

Follow the instructions below to search for an asset:

1. Sign into the Store.
2. Click on the respective asset type.
   
3. Searching via the search text-box:
   
   1. Enter the name of the asset in the search text-box.
   2. Click the button with the search icon.
      
4. Searching for an asset through the advanced search option:
   1. Click Advanced Search to view the advance search form.
      

   2. Enter the advanced search criteria respective to the asset type.
      

      Field	Description
      Provider	Displays the username of the user who is adding the asset.
      Name	This is the name of the asset.
      Version	The version corresponding to the asset. This is useful to the user to differentiate between multiple versions of an asset.
      Lifecycle state	The state of the asset in the lifecycle. Example: Created, in review, published or unpublished.
      Tags	Tags act as keywords that help to describe the asset. One asset can have more than one tags.

   3. Click Search.

Sorting assets

Follow the instructions below to sort assets:

1. Select POPULAR from the sorting field in the right-side of the interface to search by the popularity. 
2. Select NAME to search by the alphabetical list.
3. Select DATE/TIME CREATED to search by the date the asset was created.
   

Bookmarking an asset

Follow the instructions below to bookmark an asset:

1. Log into the ES Store.
2. Search for the asset and click on the asset.
3. Click Bookmark.
   The bookmarked asset will be added to your My Items page.
   

Embedding an asset

Follow the instructions below to embed an asset:

1. Log into the ES Store Front.
2. Search for the asset and click on the asset.
3. Click the embed button.
   

Viewing the source of an asset

Follow the instructions below to view the source of an asset:

1. Log into the ES Store.
2. Search for the asset and click on the asset.
3. Click on the source code button. 
   

Adding a review and rating an asset

Follow the instructions below to add a review and rate an asset:

1. Log into the ES Store. 

2. Search for the asset and click on the asset.

3. Click User Reviews.

4. Enter your user review.

5. Click on the respective star and add a comment , to rate the asset.
   For example, if you click on the 3rd star you will be rating the asset as a 3 star asset. The rating shown for the asset will depict the overall average rating of the asset.

6. Click Add Reviews.
   Your review will be visible to other users, together with your username.  
   

Liking, disliking or deleting a review

Follow the instructions below to like or dislike a review:

1. Log into the ES Store.

2. Search for the asset and click on the asset.

3. Click User Review.

4. Based on your opinion, click on the like or dislike flag.
   

Sharing an asset on social media 

1. Log into the ES Store. 

2. Search for the asset and click on the asset.

3. Click Share.

   To select the media on which you wish to share the asset click on the respective icon.

   An asset can be shared via Facebook, Google+, Twitter and Digg
